Steve has been immersed in the security industry since 1989, starting as a security guard after completing his schooling. He commenced his career as a Supervisor at Sydney Airport, overseeing operations in both Domestic and International Passenger Terminals as well as International Cargo areas. Over the years, Steve has held various supervisory and managerial positions with prominent security firms, working across diverse sites including hospitals, high-rise buildings, movie studios, airports, and major events such as the Olympics and Commonwealth Games.
His expertise expanded into Close Personal Protection, where he travelled worldwide with numerous high-profile clients including politicians, CEOs, celebrities, and their families. Steve also served as a Supervisor at Fox Studios and Warner Brothers Movie World, managing stages and events for various promoters and companies on national and international scales.
In addition to his extensive experience in security management, Steve has contributed to safety initiatives by developing Security and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) management plans for amusement parks and tourist attractions across Australia. Notably, he served as the WHS and Security Coordinator for World Youth Day, overseeing the planning and implementation of security measures for venues accommodating up to 100,000 people.
Currently, Steve provides consultancy services for monitoring centers, specializing in grading, and conducts Security and WHS risk assessments for clients worldwide. He also serves as a safety officer at various venues and events, both domestically and internationally. Steve holds licenses as a Private Investigator and Commercial Agent.
Furthermore, Steve’s passion for mentoring began during his high school years and has since evolved into a professional training career. He imparts knowledge on subjects such as Security, Firearms, WHS, First Aid, Business Management, Private Investigation, Risk Management, Forklift Operation, and Warehousing to aspiring professionals in the field.
