Frequently Asked Questions
What is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)?
RPL is an assessment method that recognises skills and knowledge gained through work, formal study or life experience. If you’re already doing the job, you may already have the skills to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
What is a Credit Transfer (CT)?
Credit Transfer allows you to receive credit for previous formal qualifications. While RPL recognises skills and experience, CT applies to previously completed accredited units.
How do I apply for RPL or CT?
During enrolment, you’ll be asked if you wish to claim credit. If so, bring supporting evidence—such as your resume, job descriptions, references, and certificates. Your assessor will help document your application.
Can I claim 100% Credit?
Yes. If your evidence supports it, you can be granted full credit for a course. Our streamlined, electronic process makes credit application simple and stress-free.
